GERMAN DENIAL
ULTIMATUM TO CZECHS
(Received September 29, 9 a.m.)
BERLIN, September 28,
The official German news agency issued the following statement at 2.45 p.m.:—"lt is declared in authoritative quarters that assertions published in the foreign Press to the effect that Germany demanded a clear-cut decision on Herr Hitler's memorandum before 2 p.m. , are pure invention, and that all stories connected with it, according to which Germany would proceed to mobilise if an unsatisfactory answer was received by 2 p.m. are equally false."
