C. Mazengarb at Wainui-o-mata last night. In order to prevent them from getting a footing the Government had taken a mean advantage in the use of the radio by allowing broadcasts to those Independents who had consistently voted with the Government and denying the privilege to those Independents who had voted against the Government. *'We all know the views of Mr. Atmore and Mr. McDougall," said Mr. Mazengarb. "They are not being opposed by the Labour Party ati this election, and for the Government to regard them as Independents is a grinning absurdity.'*
