WELLINGTON NORTH CLUB
The annual meeting of the Wellington North Tennis Club was held at Thorndon School on Monday night. Mr. C McKechnie presided over a large attendance of members, and intending m The meeting decided to enter two teams in the senior grade of the Wellington Lawn Tennis League. At the request of the meeting the committee is to run a ladder competition throughout the season. The opening day was set down for Saturday October 8. The president reminded members-sthafe ->- the courts, were now as follows:Patron, Mr. C. H. Chapman; president, Mr C. McKechnie; vice-presidents, Mrs. L. M. Warner, Mr. E. Picot, Mr. F Picot, Mr. F. Elvines; secretary, Mr. D. Gorman; treasurer, Mr. H. Harrington- club captain, Mr. L. Pickering; vice-club captain, Mr. C. Herlund; committee, Mrs. A. Calder, Mrs. H. Harrington, Mr. R. Paul.. Mr. C. Jeffries.
