NATIVE GARDENS
MRS. KNOX GILMER AWARDED MEDAL Mrs. Knox Gilmer has been presented With the gold medal awarded by the Wellington Horticultural Society in respect to the native garden competition held under the auspices of the society. The winner of this competition is the holder of Viscount Bledisloe's silver challenge trophy for one year. The award is made to the garden—whether large or small — showing the best and most attractive use of New Zealand plants, making due allowance for the ingenuity and resourcefulness which their employment in a small garden necessarily involves.
