THE EXHIBITION
PUBLIC MEETING TO BE HELD
The proposed Centennial celebrations and memorials will be discussed at a public meeting called by the Mayor (Mr. T. C. A. Hislop) to be held in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall on Wednesday, October 5, when a committee for the Wellington zone will be appointed. The local bodies invited are those in the zone, including Upper Hutt, Makara County, Eastbourne, Petone, and Johnsonville, while the invitations include representatives of the Chamber of Commerce. All interested citizens are also invited.
