NEW ZEALAND WRITERS

In one of the windows at New Zealand House just now', writes our London correspondent at the beginning of September, is a display of books, in their effective jackets, very attractively^ grouped. They are by representative New Zealand writers, arid they cover a wide variety of material, from history to fiction. The window is made still more attractive by scenic pictures of the Dominion. In alphabetical arrangement the writers are:—Miss Jean Batten, Dr. A. J. .Harrop, "G. B. Lancaster," Mr. John A. Lee, Miss Ngaio Marsh, Miss Rosemary - Rees, Miss N. Scanlan, Mr. C. A. Wilson, Commander Frank Worsley. The public are greatly interested and good sales are resulting. G. B. Lancaster's "Promenade," which is being widely reviewed at the moment and well received, is in particular request. Of course, other books by other writers are also available and can be seen by prospective purchasers.
