RETURN VISIT WANTED

(Received September 19, 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, September 18. The Australian Associated Press, understands that the Australian Lawn. Tennis Association will net £2500 from the Davis Cup tour after meeting atl expenses. There was a profit of £750 at Montreal, and the remainder was made at Philadelphia, where the -total net gate was £7500. Negotiations for a visit by American teams to Australia have advanced a stage further. It is understood that Miss A. Marble-wishes to go and would probably accept the Australian invitation. It is understood that the United States Lawn Tennis Association does ,- not approve of R, L. Riggs and W. Sabin going on tour. Cooke has intimated his readiness to go, and F. Shields is a possibility. It is believed. that the Australian Association, will ask the United States to give permission to Riggs and Shields, who, it !is believed, would be a great drawing combination. • .
