LUCERNE, September 17. Averaging 131.41 miles an hour in his speedboat, Sir Malcolm Campbell broke his own world record of 129.5 miles an hour on Lake Halliwell today. EYSTON AIMS AT 360 M.P.H.

' SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. IT. Captain G. E. T. Eyston, who regained the land speed record yesterday, will1 attempt to reach 360 miles an hour next week. He called his latest performance only an experimental journey. Mr. John Cobb, who broke Captain Eyston's previous record; on Thursday, withdrew from the competition. He said his car was built for a maximum of 350 miles ah hour, and added that business was calling him to London.
