HUTT ESPERANTO CLUB
At the weekly meeting of the Hutt Valley. Esperanto Club in the Hutt River Board Hall, Mr. Hamilton, vicepresident, presided over a large attendance. Correspondence was received from Auckland, Switzerland, France, and England, and letters were sent out to Czechoslovakia, Sweden, and France. A welcome was accorded to five new members, Mr. and Mrs. Mills, Miss Sanders, Mr. Johnston, and Mrs. Brown. The secretary, Miss Sterling, reported that good work was being done in Auckland by Mr Henri Thorns, president of the Auckland Esperanto Club. Supper and community singing concluded an interestng evening.
