WRESTLING
FRALEY V. BLOMFIELD
(By Telegraph—Press Association.)
NEW PLYMOUTH, September 18. With one fall each, a wrestling bout between Lofty Blomfield (16.5) and Pat Fraley (16.0) terminated suddenly on Saturday, when Fraley, attempting a drop-kick, landed on Blomfield's hip and fell with his wrist doubled beneath him. He climbed from the ring in pain, making it obvious that the referee's count was unnecessary to decide his inability to continue. •_ Blomfield gained the first fall in the third round with a complicated jackknife hold, and Fraley equalised in the fifth with a submission fall with a flying toe hold after shoulder butts.
