MR. SEMPLE IN SOUTH ISLAND
(By Telegraph.) (Special to the "Evening Post.") BLENHEIM, August 26. The Minister of Public Works (the Hon. R. Semple), accompanied by Mr. E. J. Meachen, M.P., arrived at Blenheim this evening, and tomorrow morning the Minister will visit the Upper Awatere district, where he will officially open the newly-constructed Hodder Bridge. Afterwards he will carry out an inspection of Medway Road. In the evening he will be the guest of honour at a Labour Party function at Renwick, and on Sunday will return, to Wellington by plane.
