GOLF AT ROTORUA
YOUTH WINS CHAMPIONSHIP
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) ROTORUA, August 26. Maintaining brilliant form which characterised his earlier matches, the 18-year-old Hamilton scratch player, R. H. Glading, won the Rotorua open golf championship this afternoon when he beat the veteran Aucklander H. B. Lusk, over 36 holes, by 9 up and 8 to play. Glading played an almost flawless game; his success was largely due to accurate putting. He had two birdies : and at the fifth an eagle 3. i The Thermal Cup was won by K. M. Wilson, Auckland, who beat L. F. Potter, Wellsford, 1 up at the 36th.
