MISS KERNOT'S FINE PLAY
SYDNEY, August 25.
Miss Kernot (Victoria) retained the women's open golf championship by defeating Miss Vedas Ebert, New South Wales country champion, today by 7 and 6, over the thirty-six holes final. Miss Kernot was 3 up at the end of the morning round and reeled off twelve holes in two over par this afternoon.
