CROSS-COUNTRY RACE
Record entries have been received for the Harrier Provincial Cross Country Championship which is to be held tomorrow from St. Patrick's College, Silverstream, and it has now been decided to start the race on the road instead of in the college grounds. The draw for places resulted as follows:— University No. 1, Olympic No. 2, Nelson No. 3, Methodist No. 4, Brooklyn No. 5, C.V.M. No. 6, Masterton No. 7, Wellington No. 8, Kiatere No. 9, Hutt Valley No. 10, Presbyterian No. 11 Maryborough No. 12, Scottish No. 13 Baptist No. 14. No. 1 position is on the college side of the road.
