IMPORTANT CONTEST TOMORROW
j At the Basin Reserve tomorrow the t championship leaders, Waterside, will engage Petone, and should Waterside win they should be assured of the honours for 1938. Petone, however, are a vastly improved team and will make Waterside fight every inch of the way. A draw would favour Seatoun, and taking all into consideration, the championship is at a very interesting stage. On No. 2 ground, Marist will play. Scottish Wanderers in the Auld Cup competition, and a bright game of Soccer is expected. Both games are to commence at 2.45 p.m., arid will be * preceded by curtain-raisers at 1.15 p.m.
