SLUMP IN WHEAT.
(By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, August 25. The slump in wheat values continues there, and the turnover is small owing to the nervousness of buyers. Silo grain is quoted at 2s 9|d and bagged to 3s 2d a bushel. Flour, £8 5s a ton; bran and pollard, £6 a ton. Potatoes: Tasmanian, £12 to £14 a ton; others, £11 10s. Onions, brown, £12 10s a ton. Maize, white, 4s Bd, yellow 4s 7d a bushel.
