LIVE POULTRY PRICES
Prices of live poultry in the Wellington market this week are quoted by Townsend and Paul, Ltd., as follows:—
Fowls.—White Leghorns, hens 3s to 4s each; cockerels, 3s 6d to 4s 6d, pullets 3s to ss; Black Orpingtons, hens heavy 4s to 6s 6d each, medium 3s to 4s, cockerels, heavy 4s 6d to 7s 6d, medium 4s to 4s 6d; Rhode Island Reds, cockerels, heavy, 5s to 8s each.
Ducks.—lndian Runner, young 4s to 6s each, old 3s to 4s; White, young 3s 6d to 6s 6d, heavy 4s 6d to 7s 6d. Geese—3s to 5s each. • Turkeys.—lid to Is Id per lb.
