MEASLES AND FOOTBALL
J. Dick, the Auckland and New Zealand Rugby representative wing-three-quarter, who had his trip to Australia postponed on account of an attack of measles, is but one of many footballers who had the same complaint. School teams, primary and secondary, have been affected considerably, but other teams, too, have had to be changed on account of members having measles. The latest case of teams undergoing change for this reason in Wellington is one affecting tomorrow's early match at Athletic Park. It is reported that, owing to measles, Symons and O'Brien have had to be replaced in the senior A (first division), team.
