GORGE ROAD & DEVIATIONS
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —In the reported discussion of the Highways Board there is a route not mentioned, and which has probably been overlooked. From 50 to 100 yards north of the Khandallah Railway Station there is a one-way traffic bridge over the railway leading to Tennis Court Road. Tennis Court Road ultimately links up with Onslow Road. If Tennis Court Road were improved and the bridge strengthened, access would be given to Onslow Road with-
out having recourse to the level crossing at the Khandallah Railway Station. This is an alternative route which the City Council should look into.—l am, etc., S. W. FITZHERBERT.
