SHANGHAI, July 7. / Foreign observers estimate the was casualties at a million Chinese and 300,000 Japanese. They point out that large tracts' of 'occupied territory art in the hands of Chinese guerrillas. Actually the Japanese control extends for five miles on each side of railways and waterways. None of tn« Japanese victories has been decisive. N
