PREMIER'S DENIAL
CANADA AND BRITISH AVIATION BASES
(Received July 7, 10.20 a.m.) I ■ : OTTAWA, July 6. The Prime Minister,. Mr. W. L. Macr kenzie King, denied the charge made by Arthur Meighen that Canada I was refusing to co-operate towards the establishment of British aviation bases in the Dominion. He declared that Canada opposed the creation of depots wholly under United Kingdom control, but-had offered to accommodate large numbers of United Kingdom aviators who were passing through Canadian flying schools.
