MOTHERS' HELPERS
A meeting of the Mothers' > Helpers was held on Monday. Mrs. G. W. Guthrie presided. As the work is increasing so rapidly, 21 new applicants [having been registered during the month, an extra helper has been appointed. ' . It is not generally understood that the society only operates in the city and suburbs, including Khandallah and Ngaio. Very often applications are received from the Hutt district, which much necessarily be refused. A donation was received from Mrs. H. Barns.
