CHINESE ATTACK
CLAIM TO HAVE RETAKEN HUKOW
(Received July 7, 2.10 p.m. SHANGHAI, July 0. The Chinese commemorated the anniversary of the war by attacking the Japanese on a 25-mile front between [Pengtseh and Hukow, on the south bank of the Yangtze-kiang and claim to have retaken Hukow.
