(Special from 'XimitecL") •--,■, :>«.':u:--; HAWJERA,*June 30.- ---* Resinguard, St," CedriViJYfinsotti&'LU, arid Gold : Glare; leave ■ tomorrow for Marton, and unless present intentions are- altered the last-named pair will carry on to Trentham. Winsome Liis trip -.-will' depend upon vher condition, as she is a bad traveller. St; Cedric may' hay & prospects in- - the maiden 'event, but it is doubtful is Resinguard is forward enough. Both Gold Glare and Winsome Lv have gone on the right way recently, and-are more than possibilities. Notium, who has been shaping particularly.' well in his work, is booked to run at Trentham. He can handle soft going, and his fine second at Ellerslie should ensure'him having plenty of friends.
' J. Brown has commenced work again on the disappointing Lysander gelding Narrator, who looks in great order after, a spell; He is a splendid type -to develop into a fencer, as he embraces jumping strains on the dam's side.
Student Prince continues to shape attractively in his education over fences, and it willbe surprising if he does not pay his way in this depart-, rnent. „'
- Although not asked to go tast Friesland is fairly revelling in his daily tasks, and he is in. excellent fettle to undergo a serious^ preparation for next season's racing. A novice hunter in Bronze King is showing plenty of aptitude at the game,- and is likely to be useful later on. He possesses a fair turn of speed, and-jumps well.
