Prices of live poultry in the Wellington market this week are quoted by Townsend and Paul as follows:—

Fowls.—White Leghorns, hens, 2s to 3s each; cockerels, 3s to ss; pullets, 3s to 6s; Black Orpingtons, hens, heavy, 4s to 5s 6d each; medium, 2s 6d to 4s; cockerels, heavy, 4s 6d to 6s; medium, 3s to 4s; Rhode Island Reds, cockerels, heavy, 5s to 7s each. \

Ducks.—lndian Runner, young, 3s to 4s 6d each; old, 2s to 3s; white, young, 3s to 6s; heavy, 4s 6d to 7s. Geese. —3s to 5s each. Turkeys.—ls to Is 2d a lb.
