WANGANUI HOSPITAL
The 33-bed isolation hospital block at Wanganui will be completed in about six weeks, states "The Post's" representative. The block will cost £15,000, and has been especially constructed to resist earthquake and fire. In the corridors, bulbs light only the floor, thus avoiding glare through fanlights into the wards. The building is steam heated and modern electric appliances are to be installed.
