"SHOP DAY" ON FRIDAY
There will be many good things for sale from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. at 294 Lambton Quay on Friday when the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Wellington Free Ambulance will hold a "Shop Day." There will be all kinds of home-made produce, including jams and cakes, and also a number of beautifully handworked aprons. Those wishing to make purchases are advised to * go early. The shop is in the Kodak ' building near the Kelburn cable car.
