ONSLOW HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY

The annual meeting of the Onslow Horticultural Society was presided over by the president, Mr. F. K. Porteous. In his opening remarks he referred to the loss to the society in the deaths of three members. Mr. Porteous thanked Mrs. H. D. Bennett, Miss J. Eglin, Miss E. M. Beagley, Mr. H. Poole, jun., F.R.H.S., Mr. J. G. MacKenzie, and Mr. W. Bourke for their services as judges. All donors of trophies and donations were specially thanked for their generosity, as also were the bowling club directors for the use of the pavilion.
