COLONELS' ACTION
NO OFFICIAL COMMENT
No comment was made by either the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) or the Minister of Defence the (Hon. F. Jones) when they Were asked last evening whether any significance attached to the Gazette announcement that Colonel A. S. Wilder and Colonel N. L. Macky relinquish their appointments as honorary aides-de-camp to his Excellency the Governor-General. The colonels were signatories of the manifesto recently issued by four senior Territorial officers commenting on the Government's defence policy.
