ODDFELLOWSHIP.
MANCHESTER UNITY
[ Among the lodges of Manchester Unity Oddfellowship which have met recently are Combination, Petone (Moera Branch), Sister Wallis, Rose of the Valley, and Rose of Sharon. At two of the meetings installation ceremonies were held, the installing officers being the District Grand Master, the Deputy Grand Master, and Bros. Foote and Norris.
The recently installed officers for Combination Lodge are as follows:— Noble Grand, Sister Bicknell; ViceGrand, Bro. W. G. Glass-Johnston; Elective Secretary, Sister Lee; Warden, Bro. P. Richardson; Guardian, Bro. R. Riddell; Conductor, Bro. L. W. Stebbing; Immediate Past Noble Grand, Sister Feickert.
The following are the officers for the current term at the Moera Branch of Petone Lodge:—Noble Grand, Bro. Corless; Vice-Grand, Bro. McMillan; Elective Secretary, Bro. Horwell; warden. Sister Horwell; Guardian, Bro. Pemberton; Conductor, Sister Rushton; Immediate Past Noble Grand, Bro. Gil-1 bertson. |
Members of Sister Wallis Lodge are to pay an official visit to Mangatainoka Lodge towards the end of the present month.
At the last meeting of Sister Wallis Lodge the following officers were elected for the current term:—Noble Grand, Sister Megan Champion; ViceGrand. Sister C, Forbes; Elective Secretary, Sister E. Dumbleton; Warden, Sister J. Arcus; Guardian, Sister R. Dumbleton; Conductor, Sister Reynard; Assistant Conductor, Sister L. Champion; Pianist, Sister A. Webber.
One new member was initiated at the recent meeting of Rose of the Valley Lodge.
Members of Rose of Sharon Lodge, Upper Hutt, are to pay an official visit to Greytown Lodge next month.
Rose of the Valley and Rose of Sharon Lodges have arranged for a friendly interchange of visits for the future, at which a shield will be competed for in ping-pong games.
