ESCAPED PRISONER
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., This Day'
Escaping from the Waikune Prison Camp on Sunday-night John Colston, aged 28, a labourer, was arrested at Levin yesterday.. He appeared before the Court at Palmerston North today charged with escaping and also with the theft of an overcoat and other articles valued at £3 7s 6d from a motor-car.
The accused was remanded until ?une 27.
