Decision was reserved by the Court of Appeal yesterday afternoon in the case in which it was called upon to decide whether the period during which a prisoner is at large after escape from custody should be counted as part of the sentence originally imposed upon him. The plaintiff in the case, which was brought by way of originating summons, was Thomas William Wilson, for whom Mr. C. A. L. Treadwell appeared, and the defend.ant was the Attorney-General, who was represented by the . SolicitorGeneral, Mr. H. H. Cornish, K.C.
