EARLY AGRICULTURE
(Special to the "Evening Post.")
PALMERSTON N., This Day. The probability of some of the old agricultural implements which formed part of the cavalcade of.agriculture at the Manawatu Winter Show, being used in a national effort during the Dominion Centennial in 1940, has aroused interest in the Manawatu. An official connected with the Manawatu display said yesterday that co-operation would be readily forthcoming and ideas which had been dropped on the score of expense would be attempted in a national effort. Many of the older large-scale implements had had to be left out at the Palmerston North exhibition on account of the cost of transport.
