ACCIDENTS
A fractured left arm was suffered by Peter Shaw, a schoolboy, 30 Durham Street, while he was playing football at Te Aro School at 4.30 yesterday afternoon. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
T. Griffiths, a steward of the U.S.S. Company, received a fractured right leg when he was knocked down by a motor-car in Bunny Street early this morning. The Free Ambulance took him to hospital.
Through being knocked down by a motor-car on the main road at Maori Bank at 7.10 last night, Mrs. G. Bearman suffered abrasions to her face, a lacerated wound on her scalp, concussion, and shock. She was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
A wound on his scalp and concussion was suffered by M.-G. Carter, waterside worker, 27 Mount Pleasant, when he was struck by falling wood while working on the Wellington wharves last night; He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
