A PARTIAL SETTLEMENT
Agreement on the majority of clauses was arrived at in the Conciliation "Council which yesterday concluded the hearing of the bacon workers' dispute for Wellington and Taranaki factories. Wages and hours, however, were referred to the Court of Arbitration. The Commissioner (Mr. M. J. Reardon) presided.
