(By Telegraph—Press Association.)
AUCKLAND, April 29.
The work of the Maori Board of Control was\ mentioned by Mr. Stallworthy at the New Zealand Rugby League annual meeting. In supporting a motion of thanks, Mr. Redwood said that the influx of Maori players to the code showed the activities of the Maori Board, and it was pleasing to note that the Maori player was a credit not only to the code, but also to his race, which had a great future in League football.
