COUNT YON LUCKNER

AUSTRALIAN VISIT

AUCKLAND, April 19.

After an absence of several weeks on a lecturing tour of southern centres, Count Felix yon Luckner returned to Auckland by train today. He was accompanied by Countess yon Luckner. He will conclude his New Zealand visit in about eight days' time, when he will leave in his auxiliary yacht Seeteufel for Sydney. Prior to leaving, however, the Seeteufel will be drawn up on the harbour board slipway for examination of apparent propeller faults. A new spanker boom is also to be fitted at Auckland.

According to his present plans, Count yon Luckner intends staying in Australia for • about two months. Leaving the Seeteufel at Sydney, he will make a lecture tour of important centres, including Melbourne and Adelaide. From Australia he will return to Germany by way of the Suez Canal.
