On charges of stealing five wheels, tyres, and tubes, of a total value of £23 the property of Todd Motors, Ltd., and. of .'obtaining a car at Auckland, .valued at £295, by means of a valueless cheque, Albert Cyril Register, a sign writer, aged; 22,: appeared before Mr. A. M. Goulding, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today. Detective-Ser-geant; P. Doyle said; that there were several charges pending of false pretences in Wellington, Auckland, and Napier, and that prior to his arrest by Detective G.
