GERMAN PLEBISCITE
VIENNA EXCITED
LAVISH DECORATIONS
VIENNA, April 8,
There is a crescendo of excitement in the preparations for Sunday's plebiscite on union with Germany. The decorations are the most lavish in the city's history. There are many effigies of Herr Hitler, one 25 feet high. Everywhere there are slogans such as "Blood to Blood," "One Reich, One People, One Fuhrer." All vehicles are plastered with one word —"Yes."
