MOTOR-CAR IN GORGE
A FORTUNATE ESCAPE

PALMERSTON N., This Day.
A lucky escape was experienced by Mr. 3. W. Jones and Mrs. Jones, of Palmerston North,- in the Manawatu Gorge last night when a boulder hurtled down the hillside on to the radiator of their car. The rock was so large that two men were required to lift it, but only the outside grille of the radiator and the ' fan were damaged.
