CANAL ACROSS NICARAGUA
EXPANSION OF PANAMA
WASHINGTON, April 6,
The Administration has shelved the proposed 1,000,000,000-dollar inter-ocean canal across Nicaragua.
Instead, it is considering expanding the Panama Canal at a cost of 200,000,000 dollars, increasing its capacity fivefold.
