44 CHINESE SHIPS
MUNITIONS AS PAYMENT

HONG KONG, April 6,
The Chinese Government has sold to an American group the China Merchant Navigation Company's fleet of 44 ships which is at present bottled up at Hong Kong, also the docks of a subsidiary tobacco company.
It is believed that payment will . take the form of munitions.
