ASSAULTS AT SHANGHAI
SHANGHAI, April 4. The British Consulate-General has protested against the assault on Messrs. W. M. Monk and' C. J. Dos Remedios, the two British, subjects who were hauled from a stationary motor-car and kicked, punched, and bitten by two Japanese civilians, inside the Japanese-controlled section of the Settlement. . - -;
