CHINESE TRAPPED
CLAIM BY JAPANESE
LONDON, April 4.
A Japanese staff- officer declared that, despite the sweeping claims by the Chinese of victory along the Tient-sin-Pukow railway,! the Japanese at present have seven Chinese diyisions trapped between two columns, while Japanese mobile detachments have cut off the* Chinese retreat, reports the Peking correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph." ' '
