1: The interest; of the:-'memtiers 'pi "the Wellington' ;Operatic;Society-.is' being retained by ' playrf eadings each 7 ■'• week in the studio, ,in ..Cuba ; Street.,'■.. Two plays were-,read during; the past/fortnight, and although rehearsals-will start immediately for i"Tho Student Prince," the readings will be carried on for some time yet.
All members, are;requested to.advise the secretary their intention either to rejoin or resign from the society, as there are a number of singers anxious to join. Men's voices are still required to fill the chorus.
