;; Mrs. F. S. Gibson, Singapore^ is the :guest of Mr. and Mrs. Rowland H. Ellis, Hobson Street. She will leave by the . Mariposa from Auckland on May 2 for America where she will ; spend several months before returning home.

Miss Tosti Murray, who has been acting secretary to the club in the T. and G. Buildings, will leave tomorrow for the south. Miss Murray intends to motor from Christchurch to Dunedin, and later will spend a holiday at Queenstown. Miss ; E. Mac Lean, the club secretary, has recently returned from a year's visit to the East, Japan, China, and the islands which are so full of interest. She has taken up her duties at the club again.

Mrs. Hope Gibbons, Lyall Bay, and Miss Bobbie Hope Gibbons returned to Wellington from the south this morning.

Mrs. Robert Turnbull and Miss M. R. Turnbull' left by the Tainui this morning for5 England. .

Mrs. Norman Gibbons and Miss Beth Gibbons, Lower Hutt, left Auckland yesterday by the Monterey for England via America.

Mrs. P. c; Dayie, New Plymouth, is visiting Wellington to bid farewell to her mother, Mrs. R. .Morrison, who will leaw on Thursday by the Kangitata to visit England and Scotland.

Mrs*. J. E. Schloss, who left Wellington by plane on Sunday for the north, is staying at the Grand Hotel, Auckland.

Mrs. J. L. Scott, Te Aroha, is visiting the Hawke's Bay and' Wellington Provinces.'

Mrs. Norman Boyne, Carterton, sailed by the Awatea today for Sydney for a holiday visit to her mother and relatives.

Mrs. R. H. Parton, Khandallah, has returned to Wellington^ after a holiday visit to the Rotorua and Waikato districts.

Miss iStella Purchas, who is on furlough from mission work in China, -will spend some weeks on a lecture tour in the North Island, with headquarters in Wellington.

Mrs. A. H. R. Amess, Stratford, who Jias been making a short visit to Wellington, has returned home.

Mr. and Mrs.' James Lindsay and Mrs. Elsie M. Laurie, Wellington, are the guests of their brother, Mr. Norman Boyne, Carterton.

Mrs. G. Keid, Te Aroha, is.spending a holiday at Wellington and Hawke's Bay. '
