The Bank of New Zealand/ produce department, has received the following advice from its Loncton Office as at close of business this week:—Lower orices for wethers ar& expected in the near future owing tq larger supplies arriving. The market flor ewes is rather easier. , There is- a if air demand for ■lambs; it is thought, prices will remain steady at present quotations. The market for chilled beef *> depressed owing to heavy arrivals fnom other sources. Wethers, light sd'to's|d per lb, heavy 3fd to 4£d; ewes, 2&d to4id; lambs, 2's-7d'/to 7 l-Bd, B's' ( *7d to 7 l-Bd, 4's 6 7-8 dto 7d, seconds 6 7-8 dto 7d; chilled hinds, 4Jd Jo 4|d, .fores 3|d The Bank of New South Wales has received the following cablegram from :its London office,-dated March 25:— Mutton, ewes.2Jd to'4id, wethers 3|d to sfd; lamb, 6 7-8 dto 7|d; pork, 6Jd to 7d. x
