STORM IN ENGLAND
DESTROYER ASHORE
WIDESPREAD DAMAGE

LONDON, February 13.
In the worst gale for fifty years the destroyer Walrus broke adrift and * went aground at Scarborough at midnight. The crew_ rowed ashore on a small raft- and were taken to hospitalsuffering from exposure. The Thames - flooded houses near Tilbury and widespread damage is reported from elsewhere in England.
