HERE AND THERE
Farewell Party. Miss Mary Parker, who is leaving for England on Thursday, was the guest of honour at a very enjoyable party given by Miss Ruth Ffitch, at "Glentuy Khandallah. The.evening was spent in games, competitions, a treasure hunt, and dancing, and those present included Misses Mary Parker, Joyce Brown, Nancy Walls, Mary, Ruth; and Jessica Durrad Anne Crompton-Smith, Ruth and Judith Ffitch, Peter Cachemaille, Hugh Walls, Richard White, David Williams, Jim Davidson, W. Shaw, B. Thompson, and J. M. McEwen.
The water in which potatoes have been boiled is excellent for, washing any silver article; such as forks, spoons, etc. ■
Rub rusty steel knives with a cut onion and leave for a few hours, then polish in the usual way.
