At a meeting of the International Shipping Conference in London assurances were given that arrangements ,
were being made in the different countries concerned to make international freight co-operation effective and to prevent infringements of the scheme of voluntary co-oper-ation. in the shipping industry. It was agreed that international cooperation should continue on the basis of the scheme signed by the British tramp and liner owners, as interpreted by an explanatory memorandum submitted to a meeting in December.
